Judging & winners
From August 1 through November 30, 2026, we verify every backlink and re-review article quality. All 8 winners are announced publicly and emailed on December 1, 2026.
Every backlink is independently verified by hand. Link or traffic manipulation of any kind is grounds for disqualification — regardless of whether it technically "worked." That explicitly includes:
- Bot traffic or fake/purchased clicks
- Click farms or engagement pods
- PBN (private blog network) link manipulation
- Spam or automated link blasts
- VPN traffic cycling to fake geography
- Paid pop-under / push-redirect traffic used to fake rankings
Any submission found using these or other blacklisted methods will be disqualified immediately, every listed backlink discarded from scoring, and the submitter permanently banned from future contests. If you're unsure whether a tactic qualifies as legitimate SEO, assume it doesn't and ask us first.
